Alex earned his medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, completed his ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. His experiences in academia and industry highlighted the eye's potential to reveal insights into systemic health, inspiring him to create myEye—a platform leveraging ocular biometrics and telehealth to democratize preventative healthcare.
Hubert is a full-stack software engineer with expertise in Java, Python, Rust, and Cloud technologies, holds a dual bachelor's in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from CUNY Queens College. Specializing in system and software architecture, Hubert aims to tackle software challenges to realize myEye's mission: providing scalable, accessible ophthalmic testing and diagnostics for chronic eye and medical conditions through ocular biometrics.
