Alexander Pinhas, MD
Co-Founder & Ophthalmologist
Alex is a board-certified ophthalmologist and specialist in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. He has deep experience in academic and industry R&D in advanced ophthalmic imaging, ocular biometrics, and systemic disease.
Alex earned his medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, completed his ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.
His experiences in academia and industry highlighted the eye's potential to reveal insights into systemic health, inspiring him to create myEye—a platform leveraging ocular biometrics and telehealth to democratize preventative healthcare.
